Delicious Ayurveda Sweet Potato
Looking for comfort food with a health kick, this dish is wonderful for the darker days and when you need a little self-love.
This is a very delicious sweet and savory ayurveda dish, I like to pair it with a variety of beans, or lots of salad leaves which help to counteract the sweetness with their bitter taste.
Ayurveda loves sweet potato often called yams, they are slightly different but still full of goodness. Sweet Potatoes are considered good for all doshas, although Kapha needs to be frugal, you can balance this by adding some sharp onions and lots of bitter dark green leaves.
