When I was walking through my local village a lady was selling the first new potatoes of the season and of course, they are delicious just with butter and fresh herbs, so I bought some, and like all things fresh they tend to lose their freshness after a few days.

Quinoa, Avocado, Brussel Sprout Leaves, Energy Bowl. I love this energy bowl, but I also love Brussel sprouts and when you cook them this way you will love them too. Spiced Sweet Potato with Tamari and Mustard Seed. Sweet potatoes in excess generally provoke Kapha, ensure that you do not overeat, but spices can bring Kapha into balance and cinnamon helps break up mucus, that is a common problem for Kapha types.

Vata Dosha Lunch - Pizza. I love having a homemade pizza and choosing the toppings that are great for each dosha. That's the beauty of making individual pizzas, you can prepare the base in advance and chop all the different veggies to suit each body type.

Dosha Breakfast Porridge Oats and Dried or Fresh Fruit*

This is a delicious sweet and in many ways, it would not be recommended from an Ayurvedic perspective, but now and again we can break some of the rules if we are mindful and add the necessary spices to help us. This is an ancient Indian desert and can be eaten cooled after blending or frozen for a simple homemade ice cream

This is not specifically for the Kapha 5 Day reducing programme. But if you have stuck to the programme you will be fine to try this. If you want to stay with Kapha reducing food, you are best to use the squash rather than the courgettes.
